It may come as a surprise to those that aren’t into TV and social media but Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg are quite the pair. The two have been seen on-air chopping it up both figuratively and literally. Their unlikely friendship sprouted back in 2008 when Snoop was a guest on the insanely popular cooking show, Martha. The two bonded over a session of whipping up mashed potatoes and have been homies ever since.

Fast forward to 2015 where Martha told Seth Meyers that she had gotten high off of second high smoke from some of Snoop’s blunts, and voila, friendship cemented.

“My homegirl, Martha, and I have a special bond that goes back. We’re gonna be cooking, drinking and having a good time with our exclusive friends,” Snoop told the Hollywood Reporter when their new VH1 show was first announced. “Can’t wait for you to see how we roll together!”

Martha and Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party features the duo cooking with celebrity guests while they chat it up and share recipes.
